An elegant templated website to get your business started online
Having an online presence is so important nowadays. When you’re just getting started it can be tough to know where to begin, and what you even need your website to do for you. You want a well-designed, eye-catching website, but you don’t have the budget for a custom designed site, nor the time or skills to do it yourself. You’re between a rock and a hard place, you get overwhelmed, and so your website just… doesn’t happen.
I created Origin specifically to help people get started online. If you want a simple yet elegant website set up for you within weeks, then read on.
What is Origin?
Origin is a pre-designed website service to help you get set up with a beautiful, responsive WordPress website within a matter of weeks.
Pre-designed means there is an existing, set design for the website. All you need to do is send me alternative text and images for the website, and I will set up the website for you on your own hosting, customised with your content and your own branding if you have any.
You will end up with a completely editable WordPress website. It’s built using the Divi theme, which has huge design flexibility, meaning your website will be able to adapt and grow with you over time, so this is a great starter solution.
What about branding?
Origin comes with two options for branding, so I’ve got you covered whether you have your own branding or not. Just let me know which option you want when you get in touch – there’s no difference in the price.

I can customise the website to your branding
If you already have branding in place, I can replace the Origin branding with your own. This means replacing the logo, fonts and colour scheme with the ones you send me.
2 .
Get the Origin branding
If you don’t have your own branding in place, I can set up the Origin branding on your website (that’s the one shown on the example website). I will create a Wordmark logo using your name, and send you the fonts, logo files and colour scheme. The font license I provide is for website use only, but I can direct you to purchase a desktop license (around $15) if you want to use it elsewhere.*

What’s included
A beautiful & responsive 7-page WordPress website
All pages have been custom designed by me, and have been carefully crafted to work on desktops, tablets and phones alike. You can read about why WordPress is great here.
Blog page
Includes setup of up of a blog page and up to three blog posts to start.
Page name changes
Like the Gallery page but want to call it Portfolio? No problem! If you want to give any of the pages a different title, that’s totally fine. You can also request the pages to be in a different order on the menu bar.
Branding customisation
Get the website adjusted to suit your own branding (logo, fonts and colour scheme), or use the Origin branding.
Video tutorials
I’ll give you access to my library of over 1.5 hours of video tutorials, so you can learn how to edit your website in your own time.
SEO ready site
Origin is designed to be SEO ready, and I include installation and basic setup of the Yoast SEO plugin
Use of my Divi theme license
When you purchase Origin, I’ll give you access to my Lifetime Divi license, saving you $249!
Custom designed 404 page and search pages
I’ve also custom designed the 404 page (page not found) and the search page template, to give that extra bit of personalisation.

What you need to prepare
Images and text
You will need to write all the text and source all the images you want to use on your website. Simply look through the example website and find or create alternative content for what is already there.

Hosting and domain
You will need to purchase and setup your own hosting and domain. If you need support with this, check out my website preparation guide.
Wordpress setup
You will need a WordPress installation ready on your hosting service. Contact your hosting provider if you need assistance.

Talk to your hosting provider if you want an SSL certificate set up on your website.
