Handcrafted websites

Come home…

make a cup of tea…

make a cup of tea…

Now shake that digital booty

(did I really say that?)

Web design is all about you

Your business, your vision, your website.

I try to bring as much simplicity, ease and joy to web design as I can. I don’t do stiff board meetings, but I do create digital spaces to express who you are, which grow and expand along with your business. The websites I build are crafted with my hands and with my love – with your brand at the forefront.

Feel like you’re having a website party already?

I hope so, let’s crack on…

The details

All of my websites are:

Built in WordPress

In my experience, WordPress is one of the most empowering platforms to build a website on for small businesses. You get the flexibility to create custom designs, as well as the freedom to make edits to your own website once it is live.

Responsive

In our technological world, this is a given. More than half of all all websites are viewed on mobile phones nowadays, so I make sure all my websites work on desktop, mobile phones and tablets alike.

Made to grow with you

Your business evolves and blossoms over time, and therefore so too will your website. Stay simple, let your work speak for itself and add extras when the time is right.

A peek at some of my work

The Dept. of Kindness

Community project

www.deptofkindness.com

The Dept. of Kindness is a community project running in Bristol’s Southmead hospital in January 2019. I had fun using the bold colours and beautiful images to create a vibrant and playful website which reflects the project intention.

Ali Burrell

Pilates, yoga & somatic movement

www.aliburrell.co.uk

Ali Burrell wanted a single-page website for her pilates and somatic yoga business. The site combines a gentle blue with an energetic, earthy orange and beautiful imagery to help convey the spirit of Ali’s work alongside the practical information.

Pete Connor

Psychotherapy

www.peteconnorpsychotherapy.com

Pete Connor wanted a calming website to promote his psychotherapy business. The lotus flower and triangle held specific meaning in Pete’s business, so the website was created around these colours and shapes using a soft green and appropriate imagery.
